 Does AJ’s take reservations?

We are a first-come, first-served establishment so reservations are not needed.

 

Does AJ'S have outdoor seating?

Outdoor seating is available upstairs with an open-air deck overlooking the Destin Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico.

 

The dining room downstairs offers seating in the enclosed outdoor patio on the Destin Harbor.

A- Yes, we have outdoor seating downstairs for a full menu dinner, or you can be upstairs which is an open deck bar (KID FREIDNLY TIL 9 OR TIL OFF THE WAIT) for a limited menu.

A- Yes we have The Bimini Breeze which does snorkel trips, dolphin sighting & sunset cruises. We have the Black Beard which is our Sail boat, its more for the kids, we have a pirate cruise with a pirate on board that gives the kids pirate hats and shoots off its cannon, or you can enjoy just a relaxing trip around the harbor on the sunset cruise. We also have the new Seablaster aka The Thriller, which is one of the fastest boats in the harbor. It also has sunset cruises and dolphin sightings. On any of our boats you’re going to see dolphins!

A- Of course! We would not be WORLD FAMOUS if the food wasn't any good!

 

Can I get to AJ’s by boat?

Cruise on down the harbor and tie-off at our docks directly behind AJ’s!

Is there live music at AJ'S?

You can hear live music at AJ’s 7 days a week!

 

On the upstairs Bimini Bar deck, enjoy a mix of Beach-Reggae/Pop-Rock from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  After 9:00, our featured guest band plays until 2:00 a.m.

 

On the docks, you can catch the southern sounds of Ronnie Satterfield playing outside in the Tiki Village.

A- We now have 3 bars; One upstairs, one downstairs and recently added our new tiki hut bar located outside of our downstairs bar right on the docks!

 

How do I get to AJ’s?

You will find us ¼ mile east of the Destin Bridge at 116 Harbor Boulevard (Harbor Boulevard is also Highway 98 East) situated on the Destin Harbor. Get directions!

A- You can find us just ¼ mile east of the Destin Bridge and if you’re traveling from San Destin were approximately 9 miles on your left.

 A- We serve lunch and dinner from 11 to 11 daily. If you’re a music lover we are open upstairs from 11 to 4 am 7 days a week.

 

Will AJ’S cook my catch?

Yes we will!  When you return from your fishing trip, the deckhands will usually filet your catch and bag it for you. Bring that bag to AJ’s, let the hostess know you have your own fish, and she will write your name on the bag and give it to the cooks. We blacken it, grill it, or fry it and serve it with fries, coleslaw and hush puppies. Your server will convey your preferences to the kitchen.

A- Yes, you just bring it in hand it to one of our staff members and we will get you all set up. And pricing you ask, it starts at $8.99.

A- Yes we do. We have a fully stocked retail store and you can even purchase our stuff online.

 

When is AJ’s Happy Hour?

Come see us any time between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday thru Friday for bargain prices on oysters-on-the-halfshell, beer, wine & cocktails!

A- It is Affordable family dining.

 

Does AJ's offer carry-out?

Yes we do! See our Menus and call 850-837-1913 to place your order. Carry-out may not be available when the restaurant is at full seating capacity which typically occurs during summer months between 6:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. nightly.

 

What are the age requirements in the bars at AJ’s?

Upstairs Bimini Bar: All ages are welcome until 9:00, after which, you must be 21 to stay. For a limited time during Spring Break months, the age requirement is usually changed to “18 to party/21 to drink”. These age requirements are subject to change so please call to confirm before you arrive.

 

Downstairs indoor bar: No age requirement to enter but must be 21 to sit directly at the bar (Children are not permitted to sit at the bar under any circumstances, this includes sitting in a parent’s lap).

 

Outside Tiki Bar on the docks: No age requirement to be in the area or sit at the cocktail tables; must be 21 to sit directly at the Tiki Bar.

We have two retail shops on the premises: one downstairs as you exit the indoor bar and one upstairs as you exit the Bimini Bar so be sure to stop in before you leave. You can also visit our online store!
